Candidate Support Associate

About the role

Looking for work is stressful, and most job sites make it worse: no replies, dead ends, silence. Fishjop is trying to be the opposite, and the Candidate Support Associate is the person who makes that promise real for seekers every day.

You'll answer questions over email and chat, help people get unstuck in their application, point them to roles that actually fit, and carry their feedback back to the team. It's calm, human, written work — no scripts to rattle off, no targets that reward brushing people off.

What you'll do

• Answer job seekers over email and chat with quick, warm, honest replies.
• Help candidates finish applications and understand what a role really involves.
• Point people toward roles that genuinely fit, and gently manage expectations when they don't.
• Log recurring questions and feed them back so we can fix the root cause.
• Keep our help articles and canned answers accurate and kind.

What we're looking for

• Clear, warm written English — most of the work happens in writing.
• Real patience and empathy; you don't get short with people having a hard week.
• Organised enough to keep dozens of conversations from falling through the cracks.
• Comfortable working independently in a small remote team on IST hours.
• Nice to have: any support, tutoring, community or customer-facing experience. Not required — mindset matters more.
