Fishjop is a curated job marketplace — relevant roles for seekers, quality candidates for employers. What makes that work isn't clever code alone; it's the unglamorous discipline of keeping the marketplace clean and trustworthy. That's your job.

As our Community & Marketplace Associate you'll sit at the centre of both sides of the marketplace: curating and verifying listings, helping seekers and employers, and keeping our sector categories current so context is never lost.

What you'll do

• Curate and verify job listings by sector — cut duplicate, vague, or expired roles before they reach anyone.
• Support job seekers and employers over email and chat with quick, human, honest replies.
• Keep sector categories organised and current so browsing stays high-signal.
• Spot recurring patterns and feed back what would make matches better on both sides.
• Help shape lightweight processes as we grow — you'll have real ownership from day one.

What we're looking for

• Clear, warm written English — most of the work happens in writing.
• Sharp attention to detail; you notice the expired listing everyone else scrolled past.
• Genuine care for people on both sides of a hiring process.
• Comfort working independently in a small remote team on IST hours.
• Nice to have: any exposure to recruitment, community, support, operations, or marketplaces. Not required — mindset matters more.

• Location: Remote, anywhere in India.
• Hours: Full-time, India Standard Time (Asia/Kolkata).
• Compensation: ₹3.0–4.8 LPA, transparent and offered on experience.
• Team: A small, responsive team based in Ahmedabad — real ownership, quick decisions.
